New Generations Academy is a full-day homeschool learning center in Charlottesville designed for middle and high school students who thrive in smaller, calmer, more personalized environments
Founded by Knikki Hernandez, a veteran educator with 13 years of classroom experience, New Generations Academy blends structured academics, mentorship, emotional intelligence, and real-world life skills in groups of just 8–12 students.
We support families who want a high-quality alternative to traditional school— without giving up flexibility, personalization, or emotional safety

First Time Visiting should be Built-in One-on-One Support
At New Generations Academy, individualized academic support is a core part of our model. Built-in tutoring allows students to receive one-on-one guidance when concepts feel challenging or confidence wavers—without stigma or disruption.
